"Crafting Your Message"
Successfully Market Your Art By Telling Your Story

with Genevieve Robertson
Co-Founder Lightbox SF (http://lightboxsf.com)

You are what makes your art unique. It’s more than just the way you hold the paintbrush or process your negatives, it’s the story behind what you do and why you do it.

Where do you see your art fitting into the marketplace? What passions do you have that influence the experience a buyer has? What story can you tell to engage your clients and keep them coming back?

These are the questions behind a compelling marketing strategy. Finding your unique story and telling it not only makes you more memorable, it makes people want to share it. Who doesn’t want that?

In this workshop we’ll focus on finding your story and your niche and then look at how you can use it to craft a marketing message.

Genevieve Robertson is a photographer, writer and thinker. After many years in the restaurant publicity business she decided to take the road less traveled. Now she helps clients with creative and art-based business tell their own stories and embrace their uniqueness. She gives them an edge by showing them how to use social media and strategic marketing to their advantage. It is Genevieve's belief that with dedication and creative thinking any artist can make a viable business from their talent.
